After graduating from University, Nataliya Tkachuk embraced a career in national security and defense. A deliberate and conscious choice, as she “wanted to see [her] country prosperous and strong, to protect it against malicious influences and actors”. Twenty years later, as the acting Head of the Cyber and Information Security Directorate at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSCC), she details the journey that made her a cybersecurity pioneer in Ukraine.
